Fighting Inertia

There are things I have agreed to do in exchange for money and things I want to do because they line up with my ideals or they are part of larger, more personal plans. What's most important is that i do these things. Of course I recognise how nice it would be to take a long walk through the woods with my wife. Perhaps that's what I should be doing today. I shall have to schedule that for next week. It is just plain unfortunate when I am with her and have other things on my mind. How nice it could be to walk through the woods at a leisurely pace and plan what we shall do together. Such a walk must be an imperative for next week. For now, today, I shall do those other things I am doing. And do them well.
